The wind whips through your hair as your team navigates the mean streets of downtown Idaho Falls. You attempt to decipher the enigmatic clue that will lead you to your destination. “A bite of the tongue, a fork in the road… the home of some free range buffalo”? What could it mean? Where do we go? Then your teammate chimes in… The Snake Bite!! As you rush to the corner of Park and “A”, you find a new challenge… Build a tinker-toy tower? How did it come to this? You signed up for it, that’s how. You and your teammates entered Eastern Idaho Technical College’s “The Great Race for Education @ Snake River Landing”.
It is time to have a little fun, challenge and competition. Join in the fun July 17th for The Great Race for Education! This is a race that will test you and your team members. You thought you were smart and in good shape—test it at The Great Race for Education! This fund-raising event, designed to promote and enhance EITC’s foundation scholarship program, will take place in downtown Idaho Falls. Teams, sponsored by businesses and individuals alike, come from near and far to pit their wits, their fortitude, and their patience in the ultimate scavenger hunt.
The Great Race for Education is a large-scale scavenger hunt in Downtown Idaho Falls. Teams of 4 will be challenged to compete for the best finish time in a race that can take you from Vino Rosso to Teton Toyota. The race includes physical and intellectual challenges. But don’t worry—all ability levels are encouraged to enter—it just might cost you in time if you can’t finish one of the challenges.
Worried you can’t cut the mustard? Be a team owner. Enjoy lunch, dinner and an after party as an owner of a team. Owners will assist teams with clues from base camp (Snake River Landing). Owners will be in the know about where their teams are in the course and the team with the most owners wins a grand prize.

Those unable to participate can still win a prize. Buy a raffle ticket for $5.00 for 1 or $25.00 for 6 and you could win:
