Donors, corporations and local business have stepped up contribution levels once again to keep the EITC Foundation Scholarship on track by providing generous gifts for scholarships. In April, 196 EITC students were awarded $149,252 in scholarships for the 2007-2008 academic year. This was a 16% increase in the number of students receiving scholarships and a 25% increase in the dollar amount.
